Portland (12-3) is off to the best start since the 1994-95 flavor and will visit to Gonzaga on Saturday for a 5:30 p.m. tipoff against the Bulldogs (10-5) on FSN Northwest. The Pilots are a perfect 8-0 at the Chiles Center this season.

SPOKANE — Courtney Vandersloot collected 25 points and 14 assists to lead Gonzaga to an 87-67 victory over Portland on Friday night.
Vandersloot, a graduate of Kentwood High School in Covington, has 11 double-doubles this season for the Zags (20-4 overall, 8-0 West Coast Conference).
"It's what we've come to expect for four years from Courtney," Gonzaga coach Kelly Graves said.
Katelan Redmon, who is from Spokane, had 22 points on 9-for-15 shooting for Gonzaga and Kayla Standish of Ellensburg added 19 points and 10 rebounds. Standish has seven double-doubles this season.
Gonzaga made a mere six turnovers. The Zags had 22 points off Portland's 16 turnovers; the Pilots turned Gonzaga's turnovers into five points.
Lauren Angel led the Pilots (12-11, 3-5) with 25 points. Tara Cronin, a graduate of Gonzaga Prep in Spokane, had nine points and a team-high five assists for Portland.
